Anatomy (ch. 4)

I'm still at college and it's been two years now. I still love my science courses, especially in human anatomy. This really helps my understanding on how humans work, how everything is connected from the brain.

Don't tell my father, but I'm thinking of leaving school at the end of the semester. I've taken all the classes I want to take and they do not offer any more anatomy or science classes that I"m interested in taking. Why study anything else?

Oh yeah, one more important thing. I'm considering taking a corpse and trying to revive it. I'll let you know how that goes.

College Life (ch. 3)

Well, I made it to Ingolstadt all by myself. Henry wanted to come with me but his dad wouldn't let him. I think money was an issue for them. I guess I'm lucky that I don't have to worry so much about that.

I haven't really made any new friends since I've been here. My professors are nice, especially M. Waldman. He is my science teacher and is helping me continue my study of humans and development. He really doesn't understand that I wish to create a person, not just study a human.

Introducing Me ... AKA Victor

Just to introduce myself, here is a little about my history. My father Alphonse married a younger woman, Caroline, to save her from povery. Soon I was born, the first child, and life was happy. We traveled to Italy, just the three of us, but my mother had always wanted a daughter. One day while visiting a village, we found an orphan girl ... a princess. We all fell in love and Elizabeth became a part of our family. She and I were as close as we could possibly be and extremely happy. My parents eventually gave me two more brothers, but Elizabeth and I were constant companions.

Eventually time came for me to go to school. At the age of 13, I became obsessed with the idea of creation of life. I couldn't get enough of it! Then one day I witnessed a flash of lightning hit a tree and that changed my focus to electricity and giving life to an inaminate object. What possiblilites there were!!

When I was 17, the plan was for me to go to college at Ingolstadt but Elizabeth caught Scarlet Fever and was really sick. Then things got worse. Mom was taking care of her and also became ill. Elizabeth recovered but Mom didn't. She made it known on her death bed that she wanted Elizabeth and me to marry. Who could think of marriage at a time like this??? I was worried about Mom. Then to top it all off, Dad expected me to still go off to college. He wanted me to continue with my plans for the future. UGH!!!
